Router Firmware
If you have ever messed with your router settings and have thought this doesnt do exactly what im looking for then i suggest trying DD-WRT or Tomato firmware. Its a third party firmware designed to basically turn a $60 router in a $1000 router. But beware of the risks when installing the firmware, if you mess up then you will brick it. I had a power outage at the exact time I just happened to be installing dd-wrt firmware and ended up having a $60 paper weight now.

Wireless n
Why do companies exaggerate so much on the distance these new standards can reach. I think "n" is said to be able to reach up to 450 ft but every router I have ever bought never even got a quarter of that. When I bought my Linksys N router I had trouble connecting in just another room of my apartment. I would love to see a router broadcast a single for what they say it can.

Iphone apps
I finally got around to buying a dev. book on making iPhone apps, trying to get any advantage I can when I graduate next winter. Although learning the android language would be a good idea as well, maybe later in the year i'll pick up a book on that as well.

Ipad for business or casual use?
So will the iPad be more of a "business" oriented product or will just casual people pick it up? From what I have read so far, it seems that there is no point for a business person to pick one up if they have an iPhone and if they don't then the iPhone is still the better choice.

Up late studying...
Trying to find decent websites that can explain the output design and data flow diagrams more in depth... surprisingly, not many hits so far.

Packet Analyzing
Is it bad to analyze packets from other user's on your own network? It is my network after all, they have the option to not use it. I feel if you use my network and your someone that I don't like to begin with. Why not mess with your connection some? Why not randomly kick you off? Is it morally wrong to steal information from a roommate that is using my connection? Maybe. But is it illegal. No.

3-D TV's
Recently heard on a podcast about upcoming announcements from to TV manufactures on a new line of 3-D TV's. Sounds like a good idea to me, but didn't LED just come out. And do consumers have to wear 3-D glasses all the time? Whats the cost of these new TV's? Is it going to be outrageous or at least affordable for those of us who don't have thousands and thousands of dollars laying aroud.
